Is this legal advice?
No. We check your forms against the USCIS handbook and ICE's inspection guidance and report what the paperwork shows. Legal questions, like how to answer an ICE notice or what to do about a worker's status, belong with an immigration or employment attorney.
Do you need Social Security numbers?
No. Black them out before you upload. We don't need copies of IDs either, just the I-9 pages.
What happens when you find problems?
Your report says who fixes each one (you or the employee) and how, following USCIS's correction rules: draw one line through the error, write the correct information, initial it, add today's date, and attach a short note explaining the change. Never backdate and never use white-out. We include note templates.
We got a Notice of Inspection. What now?
Call an immigration or employment attorney today. ICE gives you at least 3 business days to hand over your I-9s, and an attorney should guide that response.
